How it all started

It was 2020, and COVID was taking a toll on people’s lives. Many were depressed, and I was one among them. The reason was that my hair was falling from the roots in bunches every time I combed. My long, thick hair became so thin and short, like a coriander bunch.  And I developed dark patches on my face. Post-menopausal and post-COVID, I was looking so weird and hated to see myself in the mirror. As a businesswoman, I had to visit clients and my office, and people never failed to ask if I had any health issues. Highly depressed, I stopped going out totally. Medical tests were all fine, no diagnosis was made, and no medicine could help my condition. I couldn’t take it, nor could I focus on business or my family.

It was at this point that I decided I WOULD get over this. It is my body, and I can only understand it. I decided that I SHOULD cure myself.  With all the medical knowledge I gained from my business (related to medicine), from Ayurvedic and Siddha scripts, and knowledge passed on from my guides, I could make out that it was the toxin build-up that was causing all the problems. As the first step, I made lifestyle changes, stopped using all chemical products, and made my own organic beauty products and haircare formulations. A month’s time was enough to show good improvement. Soon I got my beautiful hair and skin back. I found my cure in the herbs.

Inspired, I pursued alternative medicines and herbalism to become an Acupuncturist, Naturopath, and a Formulator.

Vanyaa is born

When my niece, who was to get married in two months’ time, approached me with severe acne breakouts and scars, I was able to help her get back her flawless and smooth skin before her wedding.  The carefully chosen blend of exotic herbs showed stunning results in just two months. The sight of the delighted bride glowing with a spotless complexion on her wedding day was rewarding enough. As more people started to approach me, I decided to launch this company to empower people to adopt a healthier, safer, chemical-free beauty care routine with a range of proven, natural skincare products.

In 2021, the company was registered under the name “Bars and Lotions” and I was fortunate enough to provide herbal, organic beauty products to a few celebrities apart from commoners. As the company expanded to reach foreign markets, with growing demand for wellness products, we required a change in the name to include healthcare products.  We wanted to choose a name that reflects Mother Nature to match the quality and feel of our purest herbal products, which can reflect the natural origins of the ingredients.  And we came up with the name “Vanyaa Organics.”
